Customized Rotational Moulding Mold
Rotational moulding is a multi-purpose process for making various hollow plastic parts. The roll molding process uses heating and rotation along two axes to produce hollow individual parts. The molten plastic is injected into the spinning mold, and centrifugal force forces the molten plastic to stick to the inside of the mold.
That is, the powder or paste material is injected into the mold first, through the heating of the mold and the vertical and horizontal rolling rotation, so that the material by its own gravity and centrifugal force evenly filled with mold cavity and melting, to be cooled after demoloming and hollow products. Because the rotational speed of plastic rolling is not high, the equipment is relatively simple, the product almost no internal stress, not easy to deformation, depression and other shortcomings. Recently, it is also widely used in large-scale products.
Feature
Low cost of rotational moulding mold - the same size of the product, the cost of rolling mold is about 1/3 to 1/4 of the cost of blow molding, injection molding, suitable for forming large plastic products;
The edge strength of the product is good - the thickness of the edge of the product can be more than 5 mm, which completely solves the problem of the thin edge of the hollow product;
Rotational moulding mold can place various inserts;
The shape of the product can be very complex and the thickness can exceed 5 mm;
Rotational moulding mold can produce fully closed products;
Rotational moulding products can be filled with foaming materials to achieve heat preservation;
No need to adjust the mold, the wall thickness of Rotational moulding products can be adjusted freely (more than 2mm).
Process
1)Requirements on rotational moulding mold
2)3D drawing
3)Rotational moulding mold
4)Rotational moulding product
