Mold making
Description
The materials of rotomolding molds mainly include forged aluminum molds, aluminum alloy casting molds and sheet metal molds. Compared with molds of other processes, rotomolding molds have the following advantages:
1. Lower cost. Compared with other process molds (injection).
2. Large design space. More complex shaped parts can be produced.
3. Products produced by rotomolding molds have more freedom in color selection. When you need to change the color of the product, you only need to clean the molding die after the color matching is completed.
4. Suitable for the production of multiple varieties and small batches of plastic products.
5. The outer surface can be specially treated according to customer requirements. For example, in dermatoglyph, outer surface treatment and so on.
6. Suitable for different size molds, especially suitable for molding large and super large parts.
7. Suitable for processing different shapes, especially large hollow products with complex shapes.
8. The wall thickness of the product produced by the rotomolding mold is relatively more uniform and more durable. The wall thickness of the product can be adjusted appropriately according to the product requirements.
